However, if another image doesn't have any very dark pixels, then in order to clip 1% of whatever the darkest pixels are, it'll have to bring the image levels down quite a bit to make 1% of the pixels zero. Take Black Clip: if one image has some very dark pixels already then a 1% Black Clip won't do that much to the image (it could be that 1% of the pixels are already zero).
